Links Archers invites you to a relaxing fun shooting day at Burn House, Edzel on Saturday 25th May 2013. This day is aimed specifically at newer archers who have not yet experienced competition archery and those who do not have access to coaches. However all archers are welcome.
All bow styles welcome. Archers with all carbon arrows are responsible for retrieving any lost arrows before leaving the site.
Program ( timings approximate)
1000-1200 Warwick round competition - 4 dozen arrows over 2 distances.
1230-1400 BBQ lunch
1300-1630 range of fun activities including head to head shooting games, bow maintenance demonstrations, equipment checks and advice from coaches.
Entry fee Archers £12 - non archers £7. ( Closing date sat 18th May)
Includes BBQ lunch (selection of burgers, sausage, and chicken with bread rolls, salad, potatoes, coleslaw and relishes).
Warwick round. 4 dozen arrows shot over 2 distances. Archers may choose any Warwick round appropriate to their level of skill.
Burn House
Burn House ( or The Burn), located on the outskirts of Edzell on the road to Fettercairn is an old country house run by a universities trust and normally hosts university and school study groups. They have over night accommodation so anyone travelling for this shoot and Glamis looking for accommodation should contact the Burn directly
